Construction Begins at Town Park Station

Project Scope:

Construction crews with Gould Construction began mobilizing on Wednesday, July 25th to begin making improvements on Brush Creek Road near Town Park.

The project is focused on pedestrian improvements by re-aligning the crosswalks across Brush Creek Road, improving bus stops, lighting improvements and signage to the area, and some landscaping improvements.

Bus Stop Re-Locations:

RFTA and Village Shuttle services will continue as scheduled during this project, but both upvalley and downvalley bus stops will be temporarily re-located as necessary. Please follow detour signage in the construction area, and please use caution.

Traffic Impacts:

Motorists should anticipate periodic closures of one lane on Brush Creek Road beginning July 26th. Traffic will experience slight delays during alternating one-way closures on the road.

Reduced speeds will be posted and enforced in the construction area throughout the duration of the project. Please use caution and drive safely.

Project Schedule:

The majority of the project, including all paving, will be completed before Labor Day Weekend, 2018. The remaining minor improvements and landscaping is expected to be completed by October, 2018.
