In Snowmass Village, you're likely to experience wildlife that rivals national parks. Snowmass VIllage and the surrounding wilderness areas are home to abundant populations of elk, black bear, mule deer, red fox, porcupine, raccoon, coyote, beaver, skunk, badger, bobcat, mountain lion, and most recently moose. Wildlife encounters on area trails are common.
